A girl student namely Ms Iqra hit by a stone shot by some CRPF men using a catapult.
In this regard the district police authorities Srinagar have informed that yesterday the students of Government Women's College Nawakadal marched towards Sakedafar, Safakadal wherein some more protesting students and others joined them.
The mob of the male and female students started pelting stones on the deployment. One of the stones from the mob hit the said girl in her head. She got injured and was admitted in SMHS Hospital. The said girl was not hit by a stone shot by the catapult as is evident from the nature of the injury. [reveals Police statement ]
